Yesterday, our company, BuySPRY, a leading e-commerce supplier of refurbished electronic goods in the US and abroad, partnered with Heavy Metal Playground of Hagerstown, MD, and the Sierra Learnership Collaborative of Winchester, VA for our annual management retreat. The day focused on team building and core values training. The customized classroom sessions, expertly led by Sierra Collins, were highly informative and left everyone feeling inspired and motivated. The outdoor Heavy Metal Playground activities were a fantastic way to break out of our comfort zones and foster collaboration. Mark Stevanus, teh founder of Heavy Metal Playground), Sierra, and all the team involved throughout the day did an incredible job of handling the logistics and creating a memorable experience. Thanks, too, to Horizoon Goodwill Industries for the use of their space for the indoor sessions. Sierra Learnership Collaborative, Metal Playground (. . . and not forgetting Mimi’s Pupuseria y Taqueria!) crafted and delivered an exceptional experience. They gave us a memorable day, leaving us with a renewed sense of...
Read moreI was gifted this experience as a surprise for my birthday. From the very beginning the experience was stellar. Mark the owner was super helpful and informative when dealing with my boyfriend in setting up the surprise. When we arrived the safety brief was very helpful in starting my fun experience. By the end of my experience I had a permanent smile on my face that lasted the rest of the day. I would recommend this to anyone. I had zero experience with any type of heavy machinery at the beginning of my day and by the end I felt like I wanted to start a...
