This is such a beautiful place to go. If one starts at the top, just past the gift shop, and hikes down, the falls cascade/step down getting more and more beautiful until they culminate into a jaw dropping massive fall. If one parks in the main parking lot , it's $9 for parking (out of state vehicle, a bit much in my opinion,) the trail leads to the bottom of the falls with no signage to send people up the trail to the top. It is my hope that people would be curious enough to fully explore these falls, otherwise they miss a lot of beauty.

Beautiful park in the UP. Easy walk from the parking area. Lovely scenic waterfalls during all the seasons. Autumn is especially beautiful. The stairs can be daunting so pay attention and use the railing.

Fabulous falls from many angles, so many off trail photo ops with little deer like trails leading to them. Lovely fall foliage. Only bummer, costed $11 to hike it.

This was by far my favorite falls that I visited on a recent trip to the UP. The trails were great and they took you to numerous spots around the falls so that you could see different parts. It is easy to see why this wonder has been chosen a a picture for puzzles and post cards. You wont be...
