This was my friend and my first stop on our UP trip. We got there around 3pm on a Thursday. There was plenty of parking at that time. This is a fee area ($11 if you are a non-resident) and you pay using cash. The walk to the falls is pretty short (there were a few seniors using walkers down by the falls) and was paved. Parking was close and easily accessible then we started our hike down to the base of the falls. We were there while there was some snow on the ground and there were a few slick spots. I give it five stars because it was created by Nature! It is attached to a dam system now but the waterfall is mostly natural. There were some enhancements made and there's actually a couple of different back water waterfalls...
