Riverside Park — Attraction in Halstead

This review is in regards to the water for fishing that can be found at Riverside Park.

The dam hasn't made for great cat fishing. It has the correct features, but I've yet to get a bite after spending over four hours casting into various prime spots. Further up the river, upstream of the dam, is a bit more promising.

Every time we go to this park, we are so pleased. Such great history with this place. Really is a site to behold! We always end up trekking through the woodsy areas and checking out the nature near the stream. Would rate 5 stars, but the bridge was down last time we went, and not even some residents in the small town were aware of why it was closed or what was happening.
