North Beach — Attraction in Hampton

North Beach in Hampton, NH is a hidden gem that offers a much quieter and less crowded alternative to the more popular Hampton Beach. This beach is the best and my go too throughout my whole life. The beach itself is beautiful with a long stretch of shoreline that's perfect for walking, relaxing, and enjoying peaceful views of the Atlantic. What I appreciated most was how clean and well-maintained the area is, with no trash or clutter in sight. Parking is metered but fairly available if you arrive early, and there are a few local restaurants and shops nearby which add to the cozy, small-town vibe. One tip is to visit around low tide because the beach can shrink significantly at high tide, sometimes making the sandy area harder to access. Surfers frequent the beach, which adds a fun, lively energy without crowding the space. The beach is also family-friendly with lifeguards during the day, making it a great spot for a calm day out with kids or just some peaceful time alone. I highly recommend North Beach for a genuine, less touristy beach day in New Hampshire. I really loved this day with the ocean 🌊

I have been visiting more spaces beyond my usual and coming into presence by sitting for a little while and simply being. Here, on the part of this beach I hadn’t so fully wandered before, I sat with the rocks 🪨 of all sizes as the sun shined on me, sometimes a cloud ⛅️ passing by for a little while before flowing on.

Eventually, I drew a heart 🤎 and wrote ‘I love you’ in the sand before I too flowed on to wander. I wondered who might later see this and what it could mean for them. This too shall remain a wonder, especially since later when I visited again before going home, the tide had significantly come in and water covered all of the area I had been earlier.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and I have brought my kids here. I still enjoy coming and I have had a chance to discover how wonderful the 🌅 sunrises are! There are multiple listings on Google Maps about North ⬆️ Beach 🏖️ and one for North ⬆️ Beach State Park. There is a bathhouse here with a sprinkler to wash off your feet 🦶. Parking 🅿️ is a little pricey. In the Summer 🌞, it can be a challenge to find a place to park. This is a beach ⛱️ worth visiting. There is more space at low tide 🌊 since the ocean has been known to reach the sea wall. I did not know that North ⬆️ Beach goes up to 🐗 Boar's Head since it is in Hampton. Last week it was the Blue Angels! This week, National Guard 🚁...
