This was our first visit. The milkshakes were ok, nothing spectacular. I was hoping for something different than mediocre. It was good because it was delicious blue bell ice cream. I think maybe for the first time, I should have chosen a waffle cone with a few different flavored scoops! The salted caramel with brownie wasn't the right choice for the shake. It was hard to get a sip w brownie chunks bigger than the straw filling the bottom of the cup. I should have thought the choice through. I asked for a suggestion and went with it! The husband got cookies n cream milkshake with whipped cream. It was good but nothing spectacular. We spent $17 for two small shakes. The service was friendly and fast. We will try again another time.

For a sweet summer treat you can't beat a visit to Sommer Freeze. Friendly and welcoming customer service, starring Blue Bell ice cream it was a all around pleasant afternoon. I couldn't wait to dig into my Blue Monster waffle cone as I enjoyed the beautiful, breezy patio. The fresh popcorn and cotton candy smelled so good I had to take some for the road. This family friendly, neighborhood shop has so many flavors to choose from, they even have snocones & nondairy options. This shop is a great place for small family outings or small parties. I am sure we will have many happy memories at Sommer Freeze ice cream shop.

Thank y’all for being so sweet! Highly recommend not just for top notch service but the ice cream was DELICIOUS! The Mocha Almond Fudge, Beachy Peachy and Mint Chocolate Chip were all yummy.

I have an issue with an establishment that literally buys regular ice cream that I can go get from the store myself, then charges for premium prices for it. Some may be all for it, and that's great, but it is not even a franchise. I mistakenly thought this was a true small town creamery with something unique to offer. While the service was great. It is not enough for me to pay top dollar for regular old ice cream. Again, this is my opinion, others may feel different. I visit small town places and like to frequent small mom and pop places where most have homemade flavors unique to them, and may offer a few store flavors to help round out their selection. I base my ratings on what an establishment offers, in this case the food is foremost followed by...
