Great park with nice hiking trails, bat caves , stony bluffs , meadows and pond. very scenic and very well up kept. Paved and unpaved hiking trails. Has few different hiking trails, only down side is trails are not well marked and the available maps font show much details. You just have to go and explore the trails , 2 nd time much easier.
I went back a few time to checkout the unpaved hiking trails. There is much more than on the map. Other than the pirates ridge , there is also a Robinson trail, Cemetery trail, unmarked trail and a trail that goes to the amphitheater. The crown jewel of the park are the bat caves, from which you can watch many bats emerge at dusk at certain times of the year.
