Pros: they have a good number of lifeguards watching the pool. There are slides that uses tubes, and small slides for toddlers. They are on Groupon for discounts. And depending on how your view it, every hour on the hour is 15 minutes of kids-free/ adult swim.
Cons: They don't have enough chairs so people have to bring their own. Their food lines are ridiculous long (like 30 minute-wait-in-line long) -- it was so long I was able to write two Yelp reviews including this one in line! Their bathrooms are dirty and dark, could also use more ventilation. There were no swimsuit dryers. The lockers are in the bathrooms and are not digital so you'd need to bring your own lock vs at other places they have them conveniently outside by the pool area and uses a digital code.
Don't think we will be back here. Someone also took our large personal bag (luckily it had only our towels and change of clothes but it did have our keys. Then, they also dropped of their clothes and shoes at our chair which was odd). That was not fun.
Lesson learned, take your keys with you. Luckily, we didn’t leave our phones or any wallet in the bag either and I don’t recommend it. After I had I walked up and down the rows of chairs, I found our bag of clothes and the crisis was averted for my family or we would not be able to drive home. It could have been worse so we just kept a close eyes on our belongings after that. That whole thing was enough excitement for one day. While we came here for the family from Groupon, and I don’t think we...
Read moreThis place is okay. I bought five tickets at the gate, walked through the locker rooms, went to go place our bag on chairs and then they closed the pool because they claim to have heard thunder. We never even stepped a toe in the water. When I questioned it, I was told that they don't do weather related refunds. That got me really upset because I just spent $60 to walk through a locker room and turn around and go back to wait it out in my car with four kids. Luckily they opened the pool 30 minutes later and we were able to go in, but what if they hadn't? If we had been in there swimming and using the facilities and then got called out because of weather that's one thing but that's not what happened. This policy really does need to be reconsidered. There was also a whole bunch of sand in the pool for some reason on this particular day and I looked around and didn't see a sandpit anywhere. There were two lifeguards standing nearby so I asked what's with the sand and they both kind of chuckled but wouldn't answer me. I even asked, "can you not tell me?" and they were like, "no". Oooooookay. The four kids I had with me had fun...
Read moreUnfortunately, our experience at this public pool was extremely disappointing. I would give it zero stars if that were possible.
The lifeguards, all very young, were constantly blowing their whistles for the smallest things, creating a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere. They came across as rude and unprofessional, more focused on enforcing excessive rules than ensuring a positive experience.
Children under 13 are required to have a parent within arm’s reach at all times—even in shallow areas—which makes it nearly impossible to let kids enjoy any freedom. On top of that, no pool toys are allowed, which really took away from the fun for our kids.
There’s also a strict no-snacking policy at your chair, which is frustrating, especially with young children on a hot day. To make matters worse, there was barely any seating available on a busy Friday evening. The pool was crowded, but clearly not equipped to handle the number of visitors.
Overall, this visit felt more like being at a boot camp than a community pool. Definitely not a place we’ll be...
