Rosati’s Pizza — Restaurant in Hanover Park

on Tuesday 7/23/2024, I was eating my Mostaccioli al forno from Rosati's pizza in Hanover Park IL on County Farm Road when in the last scoop I bit into something glass like so i immediately spit out this foreign object only to find out that this was an ADULT MOLAR......absolutely mortified I spit out the rest of my pasta went to the bathroom to wash out my mouth with hot water then continued to check on my teeth to see if it was mine.

I was horrified to learn that indeed it WAS NOT MY TOOTH. I called the this restaurant and talked to the manager stating I was going to head over asap and wrapped up my plate and sped over. the manager Miguel offered me THIRTY dollars for finding a tooth in my pasta. I was astonished that this manager thought 30 would've settled this traumatizing event. He wanted to call his boss and the boss said only to refund for the pasta nothing else. It was 55.50 with tax and the manager was only going to give me 50 but I said add the tax since is the only thing you’re giving me. He also said it wasn’t from the kitchen it was from the distribution Greco and Sons in Bartlett. Then proceeded to tell me they get the ingredients and he said they only put the pasta and sauce together and put it in the warmer so the tooth from from Greco.

This is the craziest thing ever happening to me- I will never eat the same way after finding this tooth and I will never stop sharing and showing people this tooth I found...

Food quality was fine. Production and accuracy was poor. I ordered pick up, after I picked up my order and was driving home I get a call from them saying that I “forgot” a dinner salad and asked if I wanted to come get it. First of all, I did not forget anything, it was not presented to me at the counter and left there by me. They forgot to pack it. Perhaps if they had anything bigger than grocery bags they would be able to have the food more conveniently and efficiently packed. Luckily I hadn’t gone too far. Then to make matters worse when I got home, we realized they gave my wife the wrong pasta. She ordered penne and broccoli and she got Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. My wife is lactose intolerant so she switched dinners with my mother in law and had the salad that they almost forgot to give us. I try to be patient with these services because of recent events but just a pay a little attention to detail to orders, we are already coming out to pick it up, don’t make us have to get back in drive to the restaurant to replace the wrong food and have to come back. Then everyone else’s food is all cold or they’re all done eating. It’s just...

This has to be one of the best Rosatis that I have ever visited. There was a young guy working in there, with maybe one other person. They were BUSY, and this kid was running. He was super polite on the phone, helpful too, patiently answering my questions. I went to pick up my food, but the slice of chees I ordered wasn't in the order. He offered to switch it for something else, but my child is picky, so I told him I'd wait for it to be done. He put the rest of my food back in the warmer and gave me a complimentary beverage while I waited. I went out to my car to wait (Covid), and this guy brought my order out to me when it was finished. I wish I had gotten his name. He didnt stop hustling the entire time I was waiting. The pasta was good and so was the pizza we ordered. Thanks so much!

Update: this person's name is Jessie. I have been back a few times since my initial review, and Jessie is still the same, helpful, polite guy he was before. Completely genuine. I can't stress enough that I will return and that everyone should go there just to see what authentic, honest...
