Nice bowling alley and very family friendly. It wasn't super crowded and that was a bonus...prices were very reasonable too. It's was $24 for an hour and we had 8 bowlers...then between 3pm-till, was "family time" and prices dropped to $14/hr...great family fun...food was decent and staff was Great! We spoke with Tod, I'm not sure if he was the owner or manager, but he was very nice and made us feel very welcome with our very, very active crew of kids...ages ranging from 2-7. Kids really enjoyed themselves...adults, as well! Great Sunday family fun...memories to be cherished! Nice music was played while we bowled Thumbs up!!

Truly The Hidden Gem Of Harahan. A family friendly establishment with lots of parking. The cleanliness stood out to me, beginning in the parking lot. Once inside, all l saw was families bowing, partying, playing arcade games, and singing happy birthday- The staff was super friendly, and getting setup was easy- They have (24) bowling lanes and their scoreboards have various different games to choose from. There’s also A concession stand with some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this establishment for bowling and hosting birthday parties. Looking forward to returning here soon!

Yall... the lunch specials are unbelievable. Today's is blackened redfish in a lemon butter sauce with veggie rice pilaf and crab salad. It was easily one of the best fish dishes I've ever had and by far the best meal I've ever had from a bowling alley. I'll be scooping this one every time I see it. Also good to point out, they list the weekly lunch specials on their Facebook page which is super convenient. Compliments to the chef! And thanks for the great customer service from the staff!

The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one... They have great burgers. I'm very sad to say I will not return to Colonial Lanes. I use to come here on field trips with my elementary school two doors down. My dad is friends with the owner. The manager lives down the street from me. He's a very sweet man, but this business is awful. I called two different times to check leagues. I was given two different times 9:00pm and 10:00 pm. I came at 10, since its "cosmic hour" meaning they turn the lights down and have tacky disco lights on its $30 an hour. I really wanted to bowl so I paid it... That doesn't include shoes $3.50 a pair. I spent a good ten minutes walking around searching for a ball under 9lbs. They have very limited choices. Finally I figure out they keep the light balls behind the counter. I ask them for a 6lb ball, what I usually bowl with, they refuse to give it to me. Instead he gives me a 8lb ball. At this point I just want to bowl. I walk over to my lane I have 40 minutes left. Apparently they start the timer when you pay. I had my boyfriend go ask to reset it they told him, "time starts when you pay". They did not tell us this when we paid. Our lane light wasn't even turned on yet. He credited us ten minutes. Whatever. We started bowling. After five minutes my wrist hurt like hell. I ask my boyfriend to go tell them I NEED a lighter ball, preferably 6lbs... They give me 7lbs. He told him the 6lb ball is hollow that's why they don't allow people to use it. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. We bowl more. Finish one game. Start our second. Got 3/4ths through and our time ran out. They turned off our lane. I'd go ask for more time if they weren't absolutely rude, also I wouldn't dare contribute more of my money to this business. I'm ashamed I did in the first place. Go to AMF in Kenner....

I have bowled here on two occasions with my family but on Sat, August 10 was the worst experience I've had here or any recreation area servicing families are children. My grandchildren were here for the summer and as an end to their vacation we decided to gather the kids and go bowling. The price for two hrs. pizza and drink per last was $74.00 I rented two. Their were a total of thirteen.. Fifteen min into out section we were confronted three times .The last time we were asked to move out of chairs because the lane next to us were being rented.. Just petty! So much so I began to get upset.. No professisum at all Don't Tell me your rule after you've gotten my money .I felt like of all the people bowling my family was singled out... Two young men came to me to apologize and said his Manager were sending them over to my lane and he was sorry to bother us..I will never give them my money ever again.. Even vwhen we left this lady was giving us much attitude. I have no reasonable...

Worst bowling alley ever!!! I’m a small girl and I bowl with the lighter balls because it’s easier and they took my ball away from me mid-game claiming it’s “only for kids”. I’m sorry I’m small? I didn’t realize they discriminated like that. Also were told we couldn’t reserve lanes but when we got there we had to wait because some lanes were “reserved” for others. People behind the counter cut off our game early for no reason other than the fact that one of our guys was bowling with a “girl” ball. WHAT??? Terrible people here just not friendly at all. Ruined our birthday experience. The workers there are just miserable and obviously hate all fun!! The guy that’s as old as dirt is the rudest...
