We found this place as it was on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives. We read the reviews and thought it met our expectations. I couldn't have been more wrong. Other than the service, which was very good, the rest was subpar. I am not a difficult person to please, but this place should not have been on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives. It should be featured on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. First off the inside of the building was filthy dirty. The bottom of the glass door had dirt and grime at least a foot up. The tables were wet and sticky, and the restroom was more of a storage room. There were boxes and toilet paper piles up and the sink was broken. We ordered the Hamper. It's a $50 crab boil. It is supposed to have 2lbs crawfish, 1lb blue crab, 1lb shrimp, 1lb snow crab, corn and potatoes. They didn't have crawfish so substituted more shrimp. It arrived quickly, but that's the best thing I can say about it. The crabs were very small, maybe got about a quarter size piece of meat out of each. 4 small potatoes and two halves of corn on the cob. Everything was so overcooked that is was mush. The shrimp were so overcooked, they just fell apart in my hand, and tasted like a salty sponge. Apparently the onion rings are supposed to be good, but we went to a seafood place for seafood not onion rings that I can get at any burger place. Oh, and by the way, they didn't have oysters either. Needless to say. Be weary of the good reviews. I'm just being...

I was here a year ago and the food and service was AMAZING! I raved about this place and recommended them to everyone. Went back last week and had the complete opposite experience. I ordered the exact same items as last time and was extremely disappointed.

  1. the service was slow, she kept forgetting our drinks, silverware, never checked in on us and was literally trying to push us off the table by 8pm even though they weren’t busy and they were open until 9.
  2. the food. **The Shrimp OMG was a decent plate of shrimp but the sauce was definitely different. There was no spicy Mayo, it looked like a plate of Asian gelatin with sesame seeds that tasted like something you’d get in a frozen food pack. It came out half cold and was unappetizing. **Cajun Street Corn. The sauce was amazing but it was over 2 super tiny and dried out pieces of corn. For $8 it definitely wasn’t worth it. **The Volcano. I couldn’t WAIT to get back and have this again. It was so delicious the first time I had it but this time I couldn’t even eat most of it. The tuna pieces were dried out and chewy and they dumped Siracha over the entire thing. It was so hot and spicy, it was inedible. They say it’s covered with “Asian sauces and a sweet Thai chili sauce” but it was literally all hot sauce. I mentioned something to the waitress and was told “it says on the menu Asian sauces and Siracha is Asian” before she walked away.

Not sure I’ll be back with the inconsistencies...

Is this your best?

Friday, 11:45 we arrived and saw a table available outside and took a seat. Quickly a server brought us menus and took drink orders. Drinks came a few minutes later and we were ready to order. Nice day, nice spot and prompt friendly people.

Two dishes, nachos arrived within 10 minutes and the bisque a few later. My friends enjoyed the food and raved at what a nice take on nachos. 20 minutes passed and the server came to me that she would check on my crawfish order. Another 10 passed and she told me the order had gotten misplaced but it was coming.

Finally, another 10 minutes and my friends were finished eating and soon came my 5lbs of crawfish. Not only did I eat alone, the food was not hot, the corn was cold, half of the crawfish were very small and as one who knows how to cook them - overcooked and mushy. The potatoes and corn are not cooked in the pot with the rest and were ok but just cooked.

My friends were very pleased I suggested to come out here. Well, for me, you can guess. Nice idea, poor execution. All in all not a surprise. Read their reviews, check out their website. They don’t care if you don’t come...

I came here with a bunch of friends in June 2021, visiting from Minnesota! Oh my gosh!! This place totally surpassed my expectations of how I thought a seafood boil would be! It was sooo so good. I loved the psychedelic crab claws! They were super cute and fun to eat. The presentation of the appetizers was gorgeous. The seafood boil itself was a wonderful experience. Good company makes a night fun, but amazing food makes the night even better! Everything was perfectly seasoned, and I loved every I ate. The snow crab legs especially. I took a poboy to go (it was the awarded one, I think), and even after 2 days of sitting in a fridge, 23 hours in a cooler on the drive home, and then another 12 hours, it was delicious. I can only imagine how wonderful it would've been if I ate it fresh. The staff here was so nice as well! We talked for a bit as they were closing up, and they gave me some iced tea to go. I love this place, and I think about it a lot. I can't wait to visit again!
