This joint was okay. The girl at the counter had 0 personality. I asked for a menu and she pointed to one right there in front of me. Okay cool. Then i asked about sides bc they werent on that menu then, she pointed to big chalk board. Okay great maybe im blind. Or its not strategically placed in a persons line of vision when they walk in and you are looking at the bar and behind the bar. And she also failed to mention the prices on the paper menu were not accurate. It also looks like prices have gone up since someone posted a picture of the huge chalk board on here just 2 months ago. I get it prices are going up and up and thats fine im totally fine with paying for great food. So on to the food.. the cole slaw had absolutely 0 flavor. Salt would be nice. The pork was okay but better with the pineapple bourbon sauce on it. And the brisket was delicious but dang cut off some of the fat before you serve up a 1/4 pound of brisket thats half fat! I also felt like the sides were kind of small. And finally they charge you for using a CC vs cash which is one more thing the poor girl at the counter failed to mention. I would have paid cash. I have never been here before and unfortunately i wouldnt eat here again.

Our first time and we will definitely be returning. We walked in and the young lady behind the register seemed a bit nervous, but she was cordial. There was a young man there sitting at the bar eating. He was helpful with some of the selections. Thank you for advising us on trying the peach cobbler. It was delicious. We had the duke with a side order of Burnt Ends. Those Burnt Ends were the best we have had yet. The Brisket melts in your mouth. The ribs were a little overcooked, but still tasty. That Smoked Salmon is everything & with the Pineapple Bourbon, it’s even better. The sides: Brussels and Green Beans were delicious. The Mac & Cheese was okay. Tip: Make sure you serve hot food not warm. The owner came out and spoke with us. He was really nice and professional. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. There’s a bar next door which you can access from the restaurant. We will definitely go back soon.

I travel regularly in my job. I try to find a good barbecue restaurant in each city I travel to. This afternoon I tried Smoked. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. It had little fat yet was moist but not greasy, and very tender. The flavor was very good and the smoky sweet sauce was really good too. I had the baked beans which were excellent, and the coleslaw which was ok but the dressing didn't have much flavor. The service was good and the girl at the counter was friendly. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely eat here. Check the hours, they close pretty early.

First time eating at this establishment. Food was ok. Service HORRIBLE!!!! Spent $90.00 on food which included a rack of ribs.. and the woman at the counter would only allow us 6 of the little barbecue sauces. We asked for a few more as we had so much food which included dessert. The dark haired lady at the counter wanted to charge us $.50 cents for every additional sauce. Mind you 90.00 for the 3 of us. Her attitude was so nasty and went down even further from there. She was extremely impatient and rude. Later we asked for napkins while we sat outside to eat... She gave me a roll of paper towel which was ok.... But before we could get up and return the paper towel before we left...The same lady came outside and took it... We tried to tell her we were going to bring it in but she responded with she needed to check to see if we left the table dirty...which we also did not. The couple I was with had them to cater a party and said they were good. Clearly it was the food and not the service. I was told however the owner was nice and professional. I think he should train his staff better. I would not go back... And would not suggest...

This place has opened up in the strip mall next to a well-known Vietnamese restaurant. It's a nice compliment to other eateries in the area. The space is quite small with only 5 tops. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. I do think however that the food could be a little bit more distinctive. There's nothing bad about it but it doesn't necessarily stand out. I had their smoked turkey which was basically a smoked version of pressed deli turkey meat. The sides are okay but again kind of average. In any other Market this place would probably do very well but people here are Foodies so they need to step it up a little bit more to be noticed.

Here are some things I would recommend to improve the menu.. make the sides more distinctive. Use something other than cheddar in the macaroni and cheese, put candied bacon on top of the potato salad or try something that doesn't taste like your standard picnic potato salad, have at least one spicy sauce. Most of the barbecue sauces are way too sweet. The bourbon sauce is good but there's not much distinction between it and the sweet sauce. Use real turkey meat and not...
