We've been buying grapes from M&M for over 20 years. The Musto family runs a hands-on, strong customer service business and it shows. The grapes are the highest quality. The boxes of grapes we buy are immaculate -- they couldn't be more fresh. No mold. No errant crushing from transit. And the scale of the grapes they buy--coupled with the relationships they have with vineyards across the country--means that if you're buying grapes from someone in N.E., you're probably getting M&M grapes just at a mark-up. There were no wine kits on display in the store. Primarily seemed more interested in selling empty wine bottles and clarification products. Did not have any pamphlet available with the kit offerings. And while trying to purchase a kit that was presumably in the storage area the individual serving me, ran off to serve another customer. Was left standing unattended in midservice. Bought this year's wine grapes here. Great selection. Prices not marked so dependent on their wait staff to show the many different vineyards having the same grape variety.
