DO NOT COME TO THIS PARK IF YOU ARE A WHEELCHAIR USER. The entire parking lot is loose gravel and the parking blocks are not far enough apart to fit your wheelchair. My chair is purposely smaller at 29” (29” normal is around 32-34”). On one side is that VERY loose gravel and on the other side is a STEEP hill down to the fields. Darned if you do and also if you don’t. I am a VERY active manual wheelchair user (t4 parapalegic) and work full time. I am very strong but I had to turn around and go back to my truck because I was going to flip on one side and the other side I couldn’t push through that gravel because it’s so loose that my front castors just dig in. I have been here more than twice and was only able to get to one game with someone pushing me while holding my front wheels up. The other two times I have ended up sitting in my truck while my entire family watched my sons lacrosse games and my daughters soccer games. It really sucks because it’s a nice park but it’s just not handicapped friendly. Here’s a little tip, next time get an actual handicapped person to do a roll through and point out these problems instead of just doing whatever it is y’all did because it’s absolutely terrible. I mean like yall are going to get sued, terrible. Some poor lady is gonna fall just trying to see her grandkids play a sport. In my pictures, you will see that there is a break in the parking blocks. Well look closely and you will see that there is a VERY steep thick grass hill and if you need to goto the fields that are all the way the other way, you’re risking life and limb. This is so easy to fix and to avoid if you just would have sought the advice of ACTUAL wheelchair users instead of some “consulting firm”. Sincerely, A pissed off TAX PAYER (I’m on ZERO disability etc. I work 48 hrs a week).

Strong west winds that day, lightly gravelly roads (mostly dirt with little gravel) and the exit road is on the west side of a soccer field. Prevailing winds are from the west. Every vehicle racing to the leave kicked up dust, occasionally making it difficult to see and leaving a fine layer of dust on...
