Very spacious with a wide variety of trails and paths to bike/walk on. This park is very serene at dawn or dusk due to the light filtering through the tree branches making a overcast of the tree shape almost horizontally as to look like lines were drawn across the paths. Overall rating: Gud.

Brand new play structure, bathrooms, and pavilion, with plenty of parking at Clark road, in the northeast corner of the park. Paved path for walking, running, biking, AND, a new 2 mile mountain bike / hiking loop with a trailhead at the southwest end of the paved path.

Great park! Dog sure loves it!! Not muchtrasharound and playground equipment is nice! Bathrooms were dirty but not so bad. Toilet paper was everywhere in girls bathroom. But toilet seats and bowls were clean. Path was nice but found a torn apart bunny on the turn. 🥺

Trail is an up and comer for sure but a few negatives for me first as a fellow MTB rider ..... TRAIL can be dangerous with their loops being confusing; 2 way traffic, kids, hikers, runners, family friendly, etc Unless you navigate this trail often and know the obstacles proceed slowly your first few times and get the lay of the terrain. There are a lot of tight tree obstacles, stumps, roots, rocks, etc which could really mess up a novice who goes full throttle.

Positives: alot of room 4 growth on these loops and trail mechanics will be sharpened I'm sure Very cool man made jumps here; wood jumps, whoops, river and field stone stuff, etc. Trail is very unique compared with many trails I've ridden all across Michigan. They have a decent amount of technical stuff but overall it's not a downhill or uphill challenge trail by any means(yet). If your into jumps and want to kinda hangout on a particular loop and practice your jumps over and over again it could be kinda cool.

Overall, trial seems to be a slow roll in most parts but the loops are what you make of them too like most other trails. Push yourself once you know the layout and you can get a good burn in with a lil excitement as well.

I'm looking forward to the future of this...

This is a beautiful new edition to the community! The trails are paved for comfort riding bikes or walking the dog. The main issue I have with this park is they seem to have a problem with tick infestation. I walk my dog all around Michigan's state parks and in other nearby local parks and I have never seen a tick on him in 4 years. However, on three separate occasions now I have come back from this park either with a tick on me, the dog, or in my car. We always walk on the paved areas and it's always an American Dog Tick, not the kind that transport Lyme disease, but unpleasant nonetheless. Otherwise, a great area just be careful...

My family really enjoyed our picnic here. There is a spacious pavilion with multiple picnic tables. A nice play area for the kids and there is also a really nice restroom facility. After eating we went for a walk on the paved pathway. It travels from the small park to the nearby Meijers. There are many beautiful views along the trail. You must give this park a visit! In addition to the park and paved trail there is a mountain bike trail. There are multiple trails to choose from and they are well maintained. There are nice trail marker posts at each junction. It was very well thought out. This...
