I am not exactly sure where to begin with this park so I will simply say everything that must be said. This is one nice park. I remember this park years ago. So many good times at this one place. It seems out of this world how one place can hold such connections. Felt? Let us begin. The playground has everything a young child might want in life on a playground. Simply, it is perfection. I remember being under one part of it. It was nice. Many games of many thing happened in this park. It is far from my home however. Too far for a normal walk or bike, this must be reached by a car or other ways. The community center thing is next to it so it's a nice place to go after you are done with whatever dealings you do there. All in all, at the end of the day, this park is something you won't forget. Memories, experiences, it's all here. If you pay attention to what's happening if you happen to be a parent parenting children, mark my words, your kids will be safe. Not underground at all. Thank you all for reading...
Read moreI looked up best playgrounds in the area and this came up along with quite a few in Philadelphia. I talked my sister into coming with and we took our active five year old niece. Her eyes got big when she saw it! She made some kind of funny and cute remark about her excitement but now I can't remember. A few days later my mom and I took my niece again and met up with a friend for lunch. They really loved the shaded pavilion and that they could relax a little while the kids played. The playground itself is fenced in with only one way to enter and exit so the kids can't wander off!
My niece said her favorite part was everything. She enjoyed the tire swing and the slides but she mostly loved the sandbox and the monkey bars and rings. I liked the letters and numbers posted randomly under the back corner of the playground. Had fun with my niece finding all of the letters. Perfect park for tuckering kids out! Great find and I'll be taking my niece...
Read moreFunny that they named this "Freedom Playground". Well, not funny, but like... that kind of laughter where you're scared for your life and just imagining the situation as a fictional story in order to keep a shred of sanity? You know what I mean.
Ok so like it goes without saying that they enslave all the parents who show up with their kids to make whatever it is they want for lunch, and then say they never wanted that, so then you have to make something else that they "actually" meant. Standard playground stuff yea? No surprises there.
What really brings the tears down your face is the name calling. Good jumping gene rodman the nicknames are just so cruel. By the end you're sweating, crying, sore, and hungry. But mostly just emotionally devastated to your core.
"What's wrong daddy?", "Nothing! -sobs- Nothing my sweet child! Let's listen to the wiggles... Again... -sniff-
But hey I lost a couple...
