Access to Onomea bay and falls are from the Old Mamalahoa Highway. There is limited parking on road. From trail head marker, it is step and wet to first cove. Here the palm trees grow out horizontal from rocky shore. Go over headland of Botanical garden to Onomea falls. From here you can cross stream to narrow headland to view the bay itself. No swimming here. Trail is wet and continues back up to road. Good ½ hour walk.
