I come here with my family, girlfriend, and friends. It is a really cool place to see. The shops in the area are also fun to look at. here is a legend that a lizard sleeps in the hole, so when the water goes over the lizard it breathes out. This causes the water to shoot out. Of course, if there was a lizard in there, it was blown up. My grandfather told us how spouting horn used to spray so high up it would kill the sugarcane. The sugarcane workers blew up spouting horn with dynamite. Spouting horn used to spray up higher than it does today. It must have been so cool to see spouting horn in its prime. If you want some waterworks, this is the place for you. I could spend a long time watching the water come out. It is especially cool when there are big waves about. It is fun guessing what waves are going to cause the highest gush of water. It is a game we play sometimes. I recommend this place for anyway looking to see water shooting out of some rocks. It ain’t no Yellowstone, but it is still super cool

This was a pretty nice scenic overlook. It’s nice just to watch the ocean for a bit and see the little spout or geysers from the ocean waves hitting the rock caves. I am sure there are better times to get more impressive sours but we just stopped as we could. A must have addition to you selfie collection while visiting Kauai On a bitter sweet not seems people have been signing the leaves in the trees where they etch their name into the think waxy leaves. On the one hand it looks cool but in the other I know that it not good for the tree. We resisted the urge to add our name to the tree.

We visit each time we come to Kauai and it starts with the tree tunnel! So much more to do in Koloa Town/Poipu and the shopping centers, (Rum, toiletries, coffee/tours, Bubba Burgers) Gina's for breakfast, a trip up the Waimea Canyon. Lunch down at Allen's Port. Don't miss dessert acrossed the street at Kauai Chocolates. Remember to RSVP for Beachside at sunset. Terrific for celebrations whether it's your 25th anniversary or it's Tuesday! If you are unsure about the Koloa Rum, go to Gaylords and take the tasting tour! Enjoy Love

Great place for a quick stop and to mark “blowhole” off of your bucket list. There is a fenced viewing area that allows for close viewing of the blowhole. When the waves are really coming in the blowhole is more dramatic. Once you have watched for a few minutes you’ve basically seen it all. Not bagging on the park, it’s great. Just not a place you will spend the afternoon. Bathrooms are on site, so that makes this a destination. Flea market is also onsite to meet all of your Hawaiian souvenir needs. Large predictable variety.

The water display was described as being more spectacular than what we saw. Maybe we needed to go on a different day or time of day to see that. There is a small flea market here which is a great place to get souvenirs from locals with some great selections. Parking was very easy to find with a parking lot. If you pass the park you reach a dead end road with a no trespassing sign. No access to the beach or water here. Plenty of grassy areas for a picnic.

Quick but spectacular. We stumbled onto it, and we were happy to find it (and the bathroom.) Nature’s magic at work. The waves hit the volcanic rocks, and it shoots though like a geyser followed by a whale ‘s blow hole sound further back. Truly awesome. Visitors get to see it from above and take pictures. There are also picnic tables, grass, and shade. Just wish it had more information about it: culturally, geographically, and historically.
