Hawkinsville Opera House — Attraction in Hawkinsville

It's been a couple of years now but Paranormal Society of Middle Georgia had the very unique and rare opportunity to investigate one of Georgia's most haunted locations the Beautiful and mysterious Hawkinsville Opera House. Built in 1906 it was sad that it was the most acoustic building in all the land. In fact the gentleman who designed the building is the same one who built The Grand in Macon, Georgia. What a lovely venue, hosted by friendly people, in a charming area of Georgia!

I arrived early and took a tour (read: wandered around with my wine, poking my head into dark closets and empty meeting rooms). I did not encounter a ghost, though to be fair, I never do.

The rows are rather close together, perhaps a remnant of a thinner time in our country, but the closeness added to the intimate feel of the venue.
