Peking — Restaurant in Hawkinsville

This place is under new management. Went there tonight and myself along with every other customers waited over an hour to receive food. People who called in were told 25 minutes. When they arrived after waiting 25 minutes they were told it would be 25 more minutes. The food was barely ok, far from 1 hour wait good. I would not eat there again. We stopped here yesterday after bass fishing. The food was not good. They also had plastic forks and only had lemonade, bottled, and canned drinks. I got sesame chicken and fried rice. It was not good. I had much better Chinese food at other places. I feel sick, we stopped here. I do not recommend anyone going to this place. It is a waste of money. Stay away unless you like terrible...

Food was surprisingly good! Both beef and chicken were tender; good cuts of meat. Sauces were just right. Service nice too even though 90% of business is takeout. Only minus is giving us paper plates to eat on (c'mon guys it's not that hard to use real plates!). Not a fancy atmosphere by any means but seemed clean...
