Cherryland Park — Attraction in Hayward

This area is not a safe area to bring children or to picnic or barbeque or have parties for children Drugs, gangs violence are all too familiar It's not uncommon for shootings and a number of crimes that exist day and night It is very sad that the families trying to raise their children here make a decent living and work hard should have to worry about the safety of their families it's frightening to walk down the street sometimes Just recently there has been 3 shootings 2 of which were fatal A father walking his 3 month old son in a stroller was aproched and shot to death at 3 pm in the afternoon So as you can see from my post you really cannot feel safe and sound here never can predict when or where violence will break out and you may be caught in the cross fire or you could just be walking your children to or from school and an argument breaks out and it's settled by gun shots and innocently enough parents and children just happen to be in the cross fire Life is fragile as it is we have to be there as row models for our kids how long are we going to turn our heads It may just involve our family next we can not continue to be cowards where our...

Small park with basketball court, skateboard ramps and also a small playground. Easy to keep track of your children here. Great place to have a picnic. There's also picnic tables and restrooms.
