We actually made this stop part of our family road trip after leaving Ashland, Nebraska. Who could pass it up, it's the Largest one in the world!!! Such a great piece of Americana. It was actually larger than we thought, it was huge and swung back and forth rather easy. There was plenty of room to park our truck and fifth wheel.    Read moreThis was a fun stop in a very small town that was recommended by Atlas Obscura. The world's largest porch swing was fun and suprisingly comforable to swing on! It sits in a very nice, shady park that kids were enjoying when I was there. My only regret is that I had not brought 10 friends to swing with me! I am giving the site 4 stars instead of 5, because the town is pretty far from any interstate and was a definite detour on my trip north from Kansas...
   Read moreNot likely you will get to Hebron, Nebraska, near the Kansas-Nebraska border on US 81, but if you don't make the trip you will miss a pretty nice, small rural town with a unique stop. Their largest PORCH swing will hold a bus load of teenagers ( laughing and giggling ) trying get the best seat on a swing supported by a center-pivot tower. A great stop to make for the swing and a beautiful park for a picnic, but pick up your trash and take lots...
