A golden afternoon at one of my favorite spots in Henderson 📍Acacia Park, capturing a dreamy session with this gorgeous 1-year-old Frenchie. She had the best time exploring, posing, and soaking up the sunshine, and honestly, I did too. As a dog mom, I truly believe our furbabies deserve to be celebrated, not just on special occasions but every day we get to share with them. From ground-level cuddles to sky-high drone shots, this session was all heart. Let’s make memories with your pup next.📸🐾 #DogPhotography #FrenchieLove #HendersonPhotographer #DroneSessions #PetPortraits #AcaciaParkVibes #FurbabyLove #LifestyleSessions #rubyinvegas

Walking my dogs I decided to come here this morning and visit the dog park. I used to live in this community a few years back. The park is clean. While I was there I checked out the trees, bushes, and plants, so I could get an idea of what would look good in my backyard. It is a nice walking path with benches and informative signs. There is grass removal going on at this time, turning those areas into desert landscaping, which is unfortunate. The public areas are practically the last areas where the community can enjoy the greener areas. The water shortage is real? The way the developers continue to expand Clark County worries me. In a drought, I can understand the cuts on grass, but the profits of the developers seem to override the water shortage.

Recently cleaned up by the city of Henderson. But lots of open spots. Lots of exposed drip watering spots with no plants. Many plants missing identification tags. Could use some work. But still a great place to walk around. Baseball field, soccer and basketball courts. Nice area for small kids with swings, slides and water pad. Restrooms and picnic area available

This is a favorite spot in the Vegas Valley. It's a large park as it is, with a playground, soccer field, baseball diamond, and dog park. The star of the place is the demonstration gardens. I'm a transplant from Florida and had zero knowledge of desert plants. After about 3 years I found this place. I learned more walking one time through the gardens than the prior 3 years! The gardens are very well maintained (as is the whole area). I highly recommend checking it out. Take a leisurely walk around the park on the paved paths. Learn about local plants and ecosystems. Enjoy a picnic. Spend a few hours enjoying yourself in a quiet, clean,...

There is a variety of local native species that have been placed strategically around the area and there are many places to stop and sit around to enjoy looking at the plants. Most of the seating areas are located at convenient locations where you can get a nice view of the surrounding vegetation. There are also a lot of signs that display information regarding sustainable gardening practices and/or identifying the plants while giving information on where they are normally found. There are a lot of twists and turns so if you want to avoid other people you will likely be able to just take a side path and walk past them...
