They ask for my ID, not to just look at it to see if I was over 21 , which was obvious ( over 60) but they took there little gun and recorded all my information from the bar code on the back, I find that intrusive. If I want a beer and am of legal age, why am I subjected to such an interview. I will go back to Albertsons or Vons where my privacy is respected. Sadly I like the store, but will not be back. Update: I did return to purchase ginger beer (which is really ginger soda to make Moscow mule) and this all I bought , two six packs of soda and they would not sell me unless they could copy my drivers license. I was looking for a specific item went in with picture and all so not to waste time I found someone showed then and they knew where to go. I would not have found it because apparently the company had changed their branding label bit the guy knew what he was doing and looking for and I appreciated that. The price tags are electronic or maybe WiFi tags and prices are clearly labeled but lighting may cause some reflection. They have all the basics and I was easily able to select some cheaper wines to fill my display rack. I was looking for single packs of white claw in lemon but they carry only variety packs.
