Blooming Cactus Park — Attraction in Henderson

Today was the Grand Opening of this new, 7-acre park in the Cadence community of Henderson. This park is beautiful and has so many new amenities to include a “first-of-its-kind” Ninja Warrior style fitness course, which will be an instant favorite. The park has basketball courts, urban style play structure, a playground, pickleball and tennis courts, as well as restrooms. There is also a separate exercise area near the tennis courts as well as some walking paths. The park also covered picnic pavilions with barbecues stations, and a large rectangular grass/turf area for sports activities or to have a picnic on the green. Each of the Ninja attractions are built well and the kids are definitely excited. My son fell and hurt his knee on one of them but he was doing something silly and has learned his lesson! I love that this park put this stuff in so kids can see what they need to work on physically to be able to compete on the ANW...

Words from my 9yo son: good - a lot of stuff to entertain yourself with. Bad- all the stuff is really bland, too crowded being kicked off of things.
