Another update, I had an issue with a new bill redemption machine where I had put in my tickets but my money didn't come out because of a silly mistake I made. Jay assured me that everything would be okay, and They would figure out exactly what happened and resolved the issue. I was able to keep my calm through the whole situation and Kathi immediately was able to get into these new ticket redemption machines and help find the problem. Thank you Jay and Kathi for resolving this issue so quickly. And thank you. Everybody at Boyd Gaming.

I absolutely love playing here. It's well off the strip, but it's in a nice neighborhood. It's never crowded and I like it that way. I just met Mike the floor man today and he helped the problem get fixed and made sure I was happy with the result. Deb and Julieta assisted in making sure the issue was resolved in a timely manner. I can't thank you enough Boyds and Joker's Wiild for providing employees like Michael in your establishments. I've also had a pleasant experience with the other floor person Suzanne, who not only is also very welcoming and polite, but she was able to answer all of my questions and left me with a feeling like I can't wait to come back.

There's plenty of variety of machines, no live tables, but they've got machines that go as low as 5 cent blackjack. Also bubble craps and some higher limit blackjack machines.

Also Liz, who works the floor helping customers with the machines, is also a Kung Foo champion at solving problems.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time (and money) at this casino, so my perspective comes from more than just a casual visit. On the surface, the service is exactly what you’d expect—friendly staff, attentive cocktail servers making their rounds, and the usual menu of food options. Nothing stands out as extraordinary, but nothing falls short either.

Where the experience really leaves me frustrated is with the players club system. Despite spending thousands of dollars and consistently punching in my card every time I play, I haven’t earned a single point. When I’ve asked for an explanation, I’ve gotten no clear answer. That’s more than just a technical glitch—it feels like the loyalty system doesn’t work at all, which completely undermines the idea of being rewarded for frequent play.

It’s not just this one casino, either. I’ve noticed the same feeling at others in the Boyd Gaming family—like the player’s investment of time and money doesn’t translate into the kind of appreciation or reward that other casinos manage to provide. And that’s where the disappointment sets in: you can forgive average food or routine service, but when the core loyalty program doesn’t deliver, it makes the whole experience feel hollow.

At the end of the day, casinos should leave you with a sense that your business matters, whether you win, lose, or just come to enjoy yourself. Unfortunately, here, I walk away feeling like just another...

This place is old and smokey with 1970's style decor. The vibe is depressing.

You will find a combination of old and new gaming machines. There are 2 sports betting kiosks that CONTINUALLY have problems. One or the other is often not working. This creates a line of people waiting to place their bets. NOT cool!!!! I don't understand why Boyd Gaming will not replace both of these outdated kiosks with the newer ones that can be found at Sam's Town or The Orleans. Seems they do not care about their customers at this property.

I recommend going to one of the casinos on Water St ( The Pass or Rainbow) or head up the road to Klondike Sunset Casino or Wildfire Casino. All of them offer a much better experience and are only minutes away.
