Hennessy Aquatic Park — Attraction in Hennessey

This place is a joke. What was supposed to be a great family fun day in the water was spent mostly on the side of the pool. They make the kids get out of the pool every 40 minutes so the adults can swim, even though there is a separate area for the kids. The kids shouldn’t have to get out of the pool. It was a beautiful sunny day but there were a few clouds in the area so they said they saw “lightning” and we had to sit in the grass for 30 minutes every “strike.” No one who was visiting saw any lightning in sight. We were there for a good 3-3.5 hours and maybe spent an hour in the pool, the rest we had to sit out on the side. This was our first and most likely our last time there. Maybe they should get an adult to help run the place instead of a bunch...

The kids loved it so far their favorite aquatic center and very affordable and we all had a blast their are several trained lifeguards on duty they have 2 areas for little kiddos to play they have a huge slide and a basketball goal and 2 diving boards and each of these areas are divided with the ropes to keep them separated from each area here...

We attended a softball tournament here. Excellent place for bored siblings to play. The team could not wait for the end of the tournament so they could join in. Water Park is unattended so stay with your kids, don't let the kids run and be nice. Clean fun on a hot day. Hennessy is...
