This monument commemorates the 1990 invasion of killer bees into the Rio Grandeande Valley. The monument itself is super cool to see up close, and is also lit up at night. If you are in the RGV area, it is definitely worth stopping by to see this unique roadside attraction. The monument itself is in front of a city building, and there is not much else...

If you're into large sculptures of stinging insects, the World's Largest Killer Bee should be #1 on your bucket list. 4 stars only because it's fake..was expecting to be attacked by a real-life bee, but all in all left satisfied and weirdly moved that Hidalgo, Texas set aside money in their budget to create such a thing.. they REALLY want...

Not much to say about the World's Largest Killer Bee. It really is a big one and it is pleasing to the eye. If you are in the Hidalgo Texas area make sure to stop by for a good 5 to 7 minutes to see the Killer Bee! You will enjoy it as...

Went to the Hidalgo lights festival. What an amazing display with an enormous amount of lights. The trolley ride was very nice, though I felt like the driver was going too fast for the narrator. The giant killer bee was part of the light display. We definitely want to go back to Hidalgo and visit the killer bee and the pump house.

It was nice and different. What I didn't like is the fact that two security guards made us (an entire crowd) go in zig zags through their maze of stupid exit barricades. I was annoyed. Other than that, it was good.
