My family and I booked a 90 minute dolphin cruise while visiting Hilton Head. My Mom has mobility issues from chronic back pain and uses a scooter or cane to get around. I like to make sure she doesn't miss out on experiences like this just because she can't get around as easily as an average senior adult. We were assured ove the phone that the tour guides would be able to make arrangements to accommodate tmher mobility issues if we booked tickets at high tide, so we booked the first tour at 11 am. We arrived early to make sure we had time to get aboard. The dock is very long, so I went and spoke to the boat captain who called and arranged my Mom to be picked up by a golf cart. The boat was able to dock closer so my Mom only had to walk a short distance down a ramp and one step in to the boat. Because of how this team of folks are willing to help, she was able to enjoy a special experience with her family. We saw a couple of pods of dolphins, herons, and a brown pelican diving for fish. The guide was very knowledgeable about the local nature and birds, the dolphins, and also the communities on the island. He had lots of interesting facts to share with the people on board. Thank you for your care and assistance. It isn't every company that is willing to find a way to help people with mobility issues. Especially a boat tour, which is a much bigger challenge! Your kindness is very much...

The Dolphin and Nature tour is a great 90 minute excursion on the marsh to see dolphins, marsh birds, egrets, along with houses you and I will never be able to afford, but are nice to look at anyway.

The captain and mate were very knowledgeable, and were great hosts. The boat ride took us down and around and under the evacuation bridge from Sea Pines.

We saw a couple dolphins, but not very many, and the ones we did see were a bit shy. Some of the other boats were very aggressive, which was rather disappointing. The Holiday particularly comes to mind as an aggressive boat I'm trying to get closer to the dolphins, which generally had the effect of driving them away.

Cameras are also a necessity. Not a cell phone camera, but an actual camera. Most of the scenery, dolphins, marsh birds, etc. are simply too far away from the boat to get a good picture with most cell phone cameras. I have a Galaxy Note 8, which has dual cameras, and still had difficulty getting the shots I wanted.

One other thing to note was the heat. Granted, it's Hilton Head island in the summer, but there was very little wind, and the boat moved rather slowly, thus not generating much breeze. So, even though we were under cover on the boat, it was still really hot and humid.

All in all, I would recommend the tour and would do it again, but I'd be better prepared for the notes...

AWESOME BOAT RIDE/DOLPHIN TOUR!!! My family went on the 11 am tour and it was way more than we expected. When we showed up, the staff let us know they were taking 2 boats out. They have a bigger boat that had around 30-40 people on it and another smaller boat which rode on. I would recommend getting on the smaller boat if they are using that one during your time. We were on with 2 other families(about 10 people total). The smaller boat made it feel like you were out on a boat with your friends and the Capt of the boat was part of that. We seen about 15 dolphins and everytime we spotted one he made sure to get as close as possible to it for us to see. He also gave us some recommendations to good restaurants and some cool facts about celebrities living in omes on the water. There were a few different bigger dolphin tour boats out there and we always managed to get the closet to the dolphins since we were in a smaller boat and you are a lot closer to the water. I highly recommend this dolphin tour! I look forward to going on a lot more rides in the near future. The staff is very polite and you can tell they enjoy their job. Will be trying out one of the sunset cruise times on our next time around. Thanks for a great time on...

There are no visible signs that you are in the right place. No one to greet you or check you in. You are on your own in finding where you need to be. A long walk in parking area, then a long walk on the pier before you get to boat. Not good for handicapped persons or anyone on crutches.I called twice to make sure we were in the correct parking lot & then to get directions to the check in point. Which was on the boat. But once on board, we all had a great time. The captian has alot of info on the creek, intercoastal waterway, animals & what they eat, and other useful information. We saw several dolphin & the sunset was beautiful. A must do while here!
