Heritage Park — Attraction in Homer Glen

Great park, the activity area is always busy in the evenings & could probably be expanded. This park was a great purchase on the town's part to develop & great to see it being fully used. One area for improvement - after a big rain , the walking path on many occasions has been impassable in two areas from being flooded out- especially the east side. The west is passable by walking on the grass. Would not take too much to raise the path by adding another layer of asphalt- but these things are usually more complicated than...

We went to the petfest and had a great time. We loved seeing all the dogs. The pet parade, as well as, costume and tricks contests were fun to watch. The vendor area was ok but a little cramped and it would have been nice if there was a bigger variety of food trucks and a shaded tent area with seating. Also, I think our furry friends would have been happier if the temperature was a little cooler. I know the weather is unpredictable but maybe the date for the next one could be pushed up a...

Still more coming but a great effort to date in its development and a wonderful asset to the community.
