Loved the grooming they did with our Border collie/Aussie Shepherd mix! The staff was super friendly and I could tell they enjoyed my dog. This is a place who truly cared for our dog and the groom was fabulous! Wanted to mention that I took him to another groomer in Orland Park, who did a good job, but it was obvious they were annoyed with his wimpering when in the kennel. They even said that he was "very loud". When I mentioned that he was a rescue dog and probably nervous about being in the kennel, they shrugged it off. They seemed a little impersonal, and I walked away with the feeling they didn't really like my dog. That's when I went on the search for a new groomer and found K-9 Couture. After picking him up from his first visit I asked how he was? The girl said he whinned a little at first, but then settled right in. They commented on how easy-going he was to wash and groom, and that he was very friendly and loving with the staff and also with other dogs there. I could tell that our sweet boy got the comfort and care he needed. There was such a difference in my dogs attitude after we left too. He was happy and I could tell he enjoyed his day at the spa. I highly recommend K-9 Couture and will be our Groomer from here on out! Note: I have over 30 years experience as a professional dog care provider and trainer. So quality care and professionalism is of the upmost importance for our family furr babies. K-9 Couture...
Read moreNope. Sorry. No way. My boyfriend brought in his dog in for a haircut. He said it was $100 which blew my mind. After a couple days we started really looking at the dog. This is one of the most horrible haircuts I've ever seen. There are places across her back and her legs and her face and her head where they're longer than other places. It looks like places were even missed. And then around her beautiful face you can see all the cut lines. It's just horrible. I asked him to please take her back in and he said No I just won't go there anymore. I told him that he needed to take her back in and talk to the manager. He said I believe the manager is the one who was there on the way out And you would assume a good manager would look at the work that they're sending out the door. Either that didn't happen or they just don't care. Omg. Can you maybe look at what your people have done? I'm sorry but to me that's a waste of $100 and it also takes away from admiring which should be a beautiful dog. Every time I look at this poor little girl. I just see this awful awful cut. It looks like a child did it truly. I would not recommend this...
Read moreWe recently brought our dog here for grooming, and while the service itself was good, there are a few aspects that could be improved. One major concern was the wait time—it took close to 2.5 hours for a haircut, which is significantly longer than the 60–90 minutes we’ve experienced at other places. It seems like they schedule multiple services at the same time, which might contribute to the delay.
Another downside was the interaction with the front desk staff. Unfortunately, they weren’t very welcoming during both drop-off and pick-up. Their demeanor was short and lacked the warmth we’ve come to appreciate at other groomers.
Lastly, if you prefer explaining your grooming preferences directly to the person working on your dog, this may not be the place for you. There wasn’t much opportunity for communication with the groomer, which left us feeling a bit disconnected from the process.
While the grooming itself was fine, we’d suggest keeping your options open when choosing a groomer—especially if a friendly, personalized experience is...
