The sunset at Hanauma is stunning!! Great hiking, I did with local friends took us to the top, and film a few shots with the drone. Amazing place! MAHALO! 🤙🏾 At the end we have this storm coming by the ocean, we ran off the trail, anyways it was amazing no one got hurt! Bless

Did this (paved portion) as a short morning run before sunrise, from the Koko Head parking area across the highway. About 2.3 miles roundtrip, 540' elevation. Took me about 23 minutes, not including a break for photos at the top by the cell tower. Pretty view!

I'm local, can get in there anytime I want but the last two times it was too crowded. Tourist.... Knowing they might not ever get another chance! I have plenty of other times to go!

The hike itself may not be as worth it as compared to Kokohead tram hike, but if you can get a ride, it’s worth it for sure. You can’t actually drive up here yourself. Views are great of Hanauma bay and Kokohead but the views of Waikiki are better seen from...
