Well kept facility with Bbq burners in sheltered area. Picnic tables near parking lot. Convenient exercise area(see pics). Came here on Martin Luthor King Holiday. Bluest skies and turquoise water views. Top of mountain smells fantastic, like sweet flowers. What is that? White fragrant flowers everywhere! Its the guava blossoms in full bloom. Pleasant surprise once you get past the dog doodoo. Yuck! Saw at least 8 hunting dogs. Doubt ownes brought poop bag. Shame on them. Tip: look down when walking or you may step into a dog doodoo surprise. Saw one present covered in flies with foot print shape. Dont want to track that back in to the car.

This trail was physically challenging going up and pretty scary going down( if you don't like heights). It was beautiful views all around that just keep getting better as you go up. Some spots are a really tight squeeze to get through. There is a section towards the top where a small landslide occured that is very narrow and an easy fall to your death if you're not paying attention. Please don't take small kids or babies on this trail, its too risky! Overall this is in my top favorite trails. Me and my friend were hurting the day after but would probably do it again because it was so beautiful :)

A great hike that took us about 3 and a half hours. We sat at the top for probably 20 minutes or so though. It is moderate and I could see some people saying hard. The views are incredible, but you can have the summit view blocked by clouds probably pretty often. They only let in so many cars for parking. We got there at around 6:45am and we were the third car. By the time we left at 10:30am the parking was full. So I think you'd have to wait for someone to leave at that point to get a parking pass to go in. Make sure to bring plenty of water and a snack. The views are amazing, enjoy.
