Ke'ehi Harbor — Attraction in Honolulu

I love this place and had to go visit it a few days ago. My best friend and her father had a house boat there for at least 40 years and when he died he gave the boat to her. My best memories are from being and spending time with her at Ke'ehi Harbor on this awesome house boat. it has finally been redone all the new floating walk down are awesome and the area in it's self has been cleaned up and I don't see the homeless population of so many in need are not there anymore. My friend use to help them as well as all their homeless animals until she passed away Bout 5 years ago. I will be going there more often now to go fishing with friends and just enjoying the harbor once more. I'd love to have my own house boat and moore it at this harbor I am glad I went back there and felt a connection to this beautiful place. I wish I had taken pictures. I live on my boat, and have great neighbors... I havnt had any trouble here... Its nice quite on this dock, I heard one dock isnt so much... Its mostly sailing community at the docks, friendly, helpful people... My only complaint is the shower, I doubt if its been cleaned since they built it, and they cant keep shower heads... There are homeless type people roaming outside the gates at night, but I havnt personaly heard any complaimts about theft or anything, and I havnt had any trouble.... The state charges for ramp fee's . This boat harbor is so neglected and in disrepair. The pier is only half the length and the cement is sticking out of the water and hidden at hight tide, thy put a marker on the outside to mark it. The wash down area is full of holes and gravel to fill them . The state charges for slips and there are many. Sad they got the money and don't repair the pier and washrack.. The dock with the scale is ok but there is another dock that is bad off. I will avoid this place if...
