While this is a marvel of mother nature and honestly it's a 5 out of five star creation. I want to give it a one star for awareness purposes
Initially I gave this a five-star rating, but after a year of reflection I want to revise it to a one star for people to be aware !
I wish I was Well, this is one of the most magnificent creations of mother nature and can be extremely fun and marvelous
It really is the most dangerous beach that I have been to in my four plus decades of being a mother earth
It is amazing! But You must have at least body surfing fins to go into the water, otherwise it might be impossible to make it back out.
The water pools you at 15 mph back in like a very strong river.
People drown and die here.
Easily one of the top 1%. most dangerous beaches in the world at the same time, it's beautiful and really amazing.
I almost died here. The lifeguards warned me that I need fins to get out, but I've been to hundreds of beaches before and then I'm a very strong avid swimmer and I didn't think that to be the case until I found out. It's like I was sucked into a washing machine that would tumble me a wave after wave. I couldn't get my footing on the sand to hold ground to be able to withstand the pull back to get out
It's more. It's been more than a year and I still reflect on this often enough
The conversation came up with others and people have confirmed that this is one of the most dangerous and actually deadly beaches
And I just wish for others to know the same and be very aware and that it's not worth the risk
Frankly, even with the fins on and being an avid swimmer in top shape in your 20s, 30s or 40s It's a high risk
Just go snorkeling and enjoy your life along the coast
Here's what Chad GPT had to say about it

Read moreWe stopped by here because a monk seal was claiming Halona Blowhole Beach was their hood. We hopped in the water, realized the waves are ridiculously powerful and pulled you back in for wave after wave of CIA water boarding. Seriously though, I saw a 20's year old girl nearly drown next to me as she tried to escape the waves but kept getting pulled back in by the water. When I went to wash up a Dan Blizerian look a like called this beach the "Neck Breaker." My buddy and I told him we got our butts handed to us by this beach and he stated "oh this is nothing, my 12 year old son surfs this with ease." We lost our macho manliness that day after that statement.
Good for surfing, and if you can swim well, you should be okay. If you can't swim or barely can swim I can't recommend this beach is right for you.
It was a blast though for us, the crowd here is mostly younger adults. Restroom were dirty but there were plenty of wash stations on either side of the restrooms. The sand here is something else though; you'll find sand stuck in all the places you never thought would be possible. Parking is quite a hassle, recommend...
Read moreKeep in mind that this beach is known for the high number of neck and back injuries that occur here. Because of the location, the shoreline erodes at a steep angle, making the shore break waves higher and making entering/exiting the water a bit more of a challenge than other locations. There are also frequently strong currents and there is a lot of reef, so there are almost always warning flags up to notify swimmers to swim at their own risk, even though there are always lifeguards here. Not recommended for small children, weak swimmers, or novice surfers. All that said, this is a good place to stop by for shoreline views of the south and to grab a bite to eat from one of the many food trucks that post-up along the street. There is also a very large grass area that I'm always surprised isn't typically being used for anything. It would be a great place to play Frisbee, fly a kite, do yoga, or any field...
