This was one of our favorite stops on our family road trip up the coast. The people working there were very welcoming and kind. The displays are great - very thoughtfully put together, packed with all kinds of interesting objects and photos. You can see so much of the history of Grayland right in front of you. The tour was really good, too. Cranberry farming is still very much alive there and you can learn all about the fascinating process. If you have any interest in engineering or mechanical tinkering, you'll love the collection of all the handmade inventions used in harvesting and processing cranberries. This is a wonderful little museum. My young children loved walking around the beautiful patio garden, and we left the gift shop with some lovely art and some tasty cranberry treats. Highly recommended. If you are in or traveling through Grays Harbor County,...
Read moreThis was an amazing attraction that me and my partner had the amazing opportunity to visit on 9/22. We were greeted right at the door by a guide who was so swift to let us know all of the fun and interesting historical details on cranberry farming. After our tour we were invited to explore the museum, take pictures, and view the cranberry farms near by. We couldn't leave without getting a few items at the gift shop which have been nothing but high quality for a reasonable price! We were lucky enough to be able to speak to both women about why we were traveling to the Grayland area, our lives, and make some great memories with people who truly do care. We couldn't help but leave a review about this amazing museum!
Thank you for such an amazing experience! -Sophie...
Read moreWe happened upon this museum as something to do while staying in Grayland Washington. We weren’t sure what to expect but we’re pleasantly surprised by the absolute funky charm and awesome women operating this business. They have a museum where julie taught us all about the history of the cranberry machine, and the humble welder holly was an inspiration to meet. Sure this is a just a museum about a berry, but the two women had awesome empowering stories. there is always more than meets the surface much like how cranberries are harvested :-) little gift shop, and you can stay on the property if you have a self contained camper through the Harvest Hosts website. Holly also has crafts workshops on...
