Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts — Attraction in Houghton

The Rosza is an absolutely gorgeous space used in a large variety of ways. I've been to a variety of shows there, of course, but the large, artistic lobby is also used for craft bazaars, galas, fundraisers, and much more! It is definitely worth it to go take a peek around this one of a kind architectural and artistic beauty, whether you're seeing a comedian or a play, or looking for locally made goodies at a craft show or donating to fight cancer at an American Cancer Society...

Mask mandate in the Rozsa Center on Feb 26, 2022 while the University is at COVID Level 1 with masks optional. You can attend a hockey game on campus, sit in the stands shoulder to shoulder and there are no masks required. The Rozsa center is ridiculous with their mask mandates for the audience while the orchestra is on stage with masks optional. It is time to employ true critical thinking and common sense at Michigan...

Many great shows and events are offered here, and especially for the area it has a lot of variety to it's programming. It is especially good for students of Michigan Tech, as they get free admission to most of it. The seating is comfortable, and they offer a reasonable refreshments selection during shows.
