Quiet and serene, lots of green grass, duck pond w several baby ducks. Update, 06/01/2019, I just wanted to post this as of the above is incorrect, but before the construction out at the park there were ducks, baby ducks of all kinds. But it's like this now,no water,no ducks, the ones that are still there are in the pool trying to survive on chlorinated water, the workers covered up the ducks that died due to their habitat changing so drastically, the ducks were relocated, a few, that didn't die,but several came back to no water,no food,no nothing. Houston, how can you do this to our beautiful Park,& wildlife. I thought it was against the law to kill wildlife and where's all the money going to upkeep our Parks?

Nice park, but needs better maintenance, the pond has a lot of trash, and the pool isn't supposed to close until 8, and today I got here, with the kids all excited about swimming, around 4:30 and it was already closed...

ok, well ive been to this park several times, and it's a beautiful park, i do feel like it needs to be kept up a little better ,being that their are ducks all over the place, then you have the pool where, I;ve been to twice now and, Ive notice that they have at least 5 lifeguards which, is awesome if they all worked!, I only see 1 lifeguard on duty the other 4 are either ,lounging around or eating, I know everybody deserves a break but, I've stayed there for 3 hrs straight .And,you have the same people lounging around, and then if they do get around to the pool. Its to get in and play with friends and family, Im not happy with the cleanliness of the ladies r.r. and. half time there is no tissue, I realize those kids need jobs but, the pool needs a quick cleaning during their 15 min brks. they have debri and leaves all over the pool, yet ! they just sit around like the rest of us for the duration of the brk, Im beginning to think they don't get paid or either, their just wasting taxes payers money under the expensive of our kids health. I took some photos cant find them, I guarantee that , I will post them as soon as I take a few more this wk or next wk... Oh! i almost forgot,i actually saw a lifeguard ask, a young girl to go to the bottom of the pool and, bring him out a tube full of water, then he tested it outside the pool SERIOUSLY! i!!! I didnt see the girl get paid for her services. Its a nice pool id hate to see it close due to lack of maintenance and staff...

They've tended to it a lot throughout 2024. The park was really trashy looking at first, litter everywhere, things rusted and broken. People don't know how to have nice things, so there are some that come and tear up the fields with trucks. They've done really nice with this park. They've begun to plant new trees, they've placed new park equipment, and they have people come and upkeep (picking up trash, dog poop, etc.). My dogs love running around in the field. It's across from a middle school, so not much drama happens here as well! Theres, no longer a pond there, but ducks do still...
