As a nurse, I'm a big promoter of hand hygiene. I am really put off by employees who fail to wash their hands, especially in the food industry. It was my first time visiting Elote Spot, and this was the only thing that really bothered me. The person who took my order was sneezing, and they covered their mouth and nose with their shirt, but continued to make my order without washing their hands. I know they tried their best to contain their sneeze and eventually moved to an area away from where they were preparing the food. They also wore one glove and touched everything with the glove but never changed it. I didn't gather enough courage to ask for a new order, and thus, I really didn't enjoy my purchase. It's really important that vendors who work in any type of food establishment understand the importance of hand washing and the proper way to use and dispose of gloves. There is always room for improvement, and I hope this review serves as an opportunity for growth. Washing one's hands is a way to ensure sanitation, prevent the spread of disease, and protect those who may be at increased risk for illness. I know there are many places and people who probably don't wash their hands, but it is essential to practice good hand hygiene at all times, and even more so when food preparation is visible to consumers. The service was nice and I have no complaints in that regard. If I sound like a Karen, it is not my intention, but in providing an opinion, I hope to also spread a little awareness. Regardless, thank you...

I never thought I would write a review about any place but oh man, after coming here for many years and having the same feeling of a heavenly welcome. The Elote Spot is an amazing place to grab tasty snacks and foods. It is ready in two to five minutes after ordering and the service is also amazing. They didn't have any type of attitude and were ready to serve me. They also play music to make the atmosphere relaxed and chill. I come here very often to relax my mind while also enjoying my Fresas con Crema and Elote cup with an Agua de Melon. I always recommend this place to my family members, even the ones who are out of town so that they can come here when they visit. This place will always be in my top five places to grab a quick tasty snack. There is no other way to describe this place other than FABULOUS. I recommend this place to anyone thinking of coming here 100%. You will never forget the experience of coming here and you will want to come back many more times and you might even have to recommend it to your...

I was so excited to try this place, I love Elote’s and the reviews were great. Walking in the menu looked delicious and when I asked what one of the items came with she said she didn’t know. Okay that’s fine, picked my order and asked if I could have mixed corn, she said I don’t know again and then stood there staring at me to make a decision. Okay whatever, food was pretty good. The Elote’s on southmore are tons better though. We got up to walk out and waved goodbye with a thank you and she just turned, gave a look and continued doing what she was doing. Now before you judge me and say “maybe she didn’t understand you”, she spoke perfect English to the worker in the back and I did not hear them speak in Spanish once as they talked to each other. I just felt like it was us that was the issue and I don’t like situations like that. Makes me feel uncomfortable so we won’t...

Great place for snacks, their menu is amazingly stocked. Love that ! They make everything from scratch.. we arrived at 10 and they were super nice, they didnt make any faces and still opened their doors and full service for us even though they were closed. That alone says a lot about a business. Give them 5 stars because I was satisfied with not experience 😋
