Good place for sports. Mostly baseball, soccer, pickle ball and tennis. The parking lot and playground is a little small and there is virtually no shade from the sun or blockage for wind, which builds up substantially sometimes across this big open park. Again. great place for sports.. Other attractions are a little mid though. If you are looking for a decent place for the little ones. Oak grove park literally half a mile East towards Stow Rd. on the right from this location is a way better option.
Edit: With this being a sports park primarily, it sees very little foot traffic compared to many parks in my honest opinion. With that said, if this place considered putting work out stations around the walking trails.. it would really elevate the sports and exercise function and usefulness...
Read moreWent to play Pickleball at their beautiful new courts! Perhaps due to only recently opening there is a serious state of disorganization. There are "paddle up" stands on every single court which makes no sense to facilitate open play on all the courts! Both times I went there were only apparently private games and no one offered to help which is a norm we a ee as we travel the country playing every year. Hopefully the powers-that-be will get this (and other) problem(s) fixed soon so these great courts can be optimally used! Being optimistic I plan to try...
Read moreBeautiful venue. We visited to see a concert. The kids loved getting craft root beer. They also have a farm stand where they sell fresh vegetables. There is a garden where the veggies are grown and even a mound of dirt where they are growing pumpkins for the fall. This would be a great venue for a wedding or similar event.
