Case-Barlow Farm — Attraction in Hudson

I attended a wedding at the Case-Barlow Farm Barn on October 8th and the lack of heat was pathetic. The big barn doors were left wide open due to fire code, which lets the cold air fill the barn. And heaters are not allowed. The bathroom situation was awful. There are only three bathrooms and people were standing in a line waiting to use the bathroom. Very poor design. Another major issue is when leaving the barn, you are walking downhill in a dark field because there is no lighting on the outside of the barn. There was also no security. Nosh Catering provided the food service, and it was just OK. The chicken was not very tender. With the cold temperature in the venue, the caterer did not have coffee brewed until 3 ½ hours after the event started. Due to the age of the building, the cold air seeps through the barn siding, which have a 1-2” gap, plus all the doors being open made this one cold event. Unless you are a gambler, I would not recommend booking an event at Case-Barlow Farm Barn until they put heating and air...

We had our wedding at Case-Barlow Farm in June 2024 and it was AMAZING! Ceremony and reception were both on the premises. We absolutely loved the venue and staff! The venue is gorgeous. The staff were wonderful to work with. We communicated with Lisa for all our needs. Lisa was prompt, friendly, flexible, knowledgeable, helpful and very understanding. We contracted the venue staff to complete our set-up and clean-up for the day of the wedding and they did an amazing job. As a bride, I was so nervous having someone else set-up my wedding but they did a phenomenal job. The set-up was exactly as I wanted it to be. I am so glad I took the step to contract them for set-up and clean-up because it took that off my plate as a bride. We had our wedding here in Oct 2021. Not only was it a fabulously beautiful location, but the event staff were perfect. Everyone complimented us on how beautiful the venue was. Price is around 3000. Katie the event coordinator is really great, and is good at preventing potential issues. They will give you as many tours as you need. There is a golf cart to help guests get to the barn from the parking lot. Only downsides are there is no place to change/get ready, and it's a bit hard for the bride to hide before the ceremony.
