HUDSON BEACH — Attraction in Hudson

Unpretentious and relaxing place to visit. It has an overflow lot by the boat ramp/canal so if your close to sunset you're better off parking there and walking a few feet more. Restaraunt and open air cafe. Three overhead awning gazebo pavillions, picnic tables, widows walk (up the stairs). 2 Handicap accessible facilities. 1 near the promenade and the other at the boat ramp lot. Clean enough. Nothing fancy, just a well thought out and supported place to watch the sunset. Always a thorough mix of age groups. Update 6/24/2026 Last few times we came here there is a guy that is tolerated under the pavillion roof, cranking hip hop music. Everybody just goes to either side and tries not too notice too much. Quiet and not very packed but not too easy to find parking. We were looking for a beach that was a closer distance than driving all the way to the other large beaches in the area. This was way different than we expected. Super small beach area and rocks in sand leading to the water. There was a sandy area with no rocks but it’s not very large of an area. It was nice that it wasn’t overcrowded in the area but it isn’t really a normal Florida beach. It’s a small area of sand on the water that’s leading into a canal. There is a small area for swimming that is roped off from the rest of the water. No waves. Nice if you are close and looking for a quick trip to the beach without the normal beach experience. ...

I have only been here two times and both times it has been a quiet little place too hang out with friends or just too relax for a little bit.. it’s view is beautiful, The local little adorable restaurant that is on the water,, It looks like some weather took some of the wood decking away from the area that you could walk on…

Someone sweet said it would be nice to see the country help out with materials or something. Maybe build a new one and expand it out onto the water some..

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE IN THE HUDSON FLORIDA , would anyone be interested in helping out? Donation’s , maybe volunteer , to make the beach a little more family oriented.,
