I encountered two rude staff people here on 5/19/17. The first worker who was a middle-aged Caucasian woman yells at everyone walking over to get the last of popcorn before we headed out. She says, "We're closed!" I would like to send a special thank you to the girl who gave my son and I popcorn anyway. She knew that lady was just being mean. It was just three kids including my son who wanted popcorn that's all. There was a lot left. Sheesh. The second worker who was a middle-aged Caucasian male. It sounded like he had an Australian accent. He also had curly blonde hair as well. My son and I left the popcorn area and headed over to the General store area to grab a snow cone. The snow cones were still open 20 minutes ago before my son exited the pool. We waited in line and the second worker walks down saying something about tattos. I ask about the snow cones and he yells too saying, "We shut all of that down! We already shut everything down!" People are stupid nowadays as if there is no way I can post a review about your behavior. Well now anyone who sees this will know not all of the staff people are friendly as everyone claims. Overall my son had a great time swimming, eating his popcorn, hot dog, and French fries, and playing golf. I really enjoyed my burger and French fries. The fruit punch was just right! I just wished they had more shade areas by the pool so people like myself who have health conditions don't have endure too...
Read moreI can't speak to the picnic park but only to "the falls" (as us locals call it.) It's a cool spot. They appeared to have lots to do there and have a brewery. I went with my kid just to skip stones into the falls. We had to hike a little and tried to not encroach on the picnic area, which was gated. If you wanna just get to the falls its best to park at the Neshaminy train station and take a hike, down hill, to the water fall. Lots of kids hang out and a few drunks. I loved playing down there, rope swings, crossing the falls, bon fires and quads (not many of which are permitted lol.) It's a place for teens to hang in the woods and a gather with friends. BEWARE... In my life time there have been numerous drownings in that location. Not sure why but be careful especially near the rope swing (they cut it down all the time but someone just hangs another.) Tons of Carp fish (gross) but yep, I would swim there all the time. It's a fun spot but it can also be trouble depending on the teen's motives of course. Overall it's a scenic view, fun to hike around and great for skipping stones and finding wildlife. Great outside area and the Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park looked like a blast (canoes, fishing, fun in the...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for a Sniff spot date with our three dogs. The rules were unclear with what they expected. We go to sniff spots together with our dogs all the time. They said we brought a guest? We are married and went there to have fun together with our dogs. We looked at pictures of the sniff spot before going and all the pools were in use so we didn’t think one of them was closed off. They were mad because we didn’t know that? It was our FIRST time there. We drove 45 minutes to get to this place. We had fun and left a nice review only to get a rude and unprofessional review for us in return. If you have specific rules for your spiff spot guests why not verbalize them when greeting at the gate? It could be THAT EASY. Instead you expect people to just know your ridiculous rules. We will not be returning to this place. Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful reply from the people who run this establishment. To think we left a 5 star review originally and yall left us a 1 star review. Absolutely absurd. Stay away from this place if you want to enjoy a sniff spot with...
