Vintage Funk — Local services in Hulmeville

Very cool shop. The owner repurposes/revitalizes old furniture and sells it at a very reasonable price. It's usually older stuff, so it's made well and stands the test of time, but it's refinished or repainted to update the look. Lots of fun decor items available as well. Every week the shop looks different.

Went in shop 8-18-24 with my daughter who purchased 5 items. One happened to be a lamp for $65.00 and the sales clerk removed cool looking light bulb from lamp before putting it in bag. When I asked “why”? She replied, “ it was part of the display.” My kid spent over two hundred dollars and you couldn’t leave the light bulb. No where on sales tag did it state it wasn’t part of the lamp. I...

Usually enjoy every visit to this unique gem, today outing was not a good experience. The person working (claim to be the store manager). Very curt & unwilling to help! Everytime I shop in this adorable shop, I buy something. All the other staff members have always been a pleasure in the past, including the owner. 😞...
