Not sure what happened to this store but it’s went downhill the last couple of months. I’ve been coming here since 2023 and it’s a drastic change from then (and NOT in a good way). This place had dozens of vendors but now it’s down to just a handful. It almost appears as if it’s close to going out of business. The atmosphere is no longer friendly or welcoming. There used to be the store manager named Cathy who was always a delight to see. She’d welcome you, ask if she could help, and let you know she’s there for assistance. Now there is a woman who sits at the front counter, head down on her phone, and couldn’t bother to acknowledge you. Whoever “redesigned” the layout of the store is clearly trying to fill empty space but it only draws more attention to the fact that it’s empty. I’m not sure why the other reviews say it’s the best place to shop or great finds. I can assure you, neither statement is true. This store is now basically a junk store posing as “treasures”. Not a ton of antiques and the ones they have are overpriced. I’m convinced the recent good reviews are fake. If you don’t believe me, come see for yourself. I recommend other antique stores such as The Olde Factory, Crossroads Hershey, Black Swan Antiques, and Cinderella Antiques. Some advice for the new management-learn your customers, lower your prices, be friendlier, fill your empty shelves, and fire whoever ruined your once great store. At this rate, you’ll be out of business in...
Read moreOn the surface, Treasures on Main offers a warm, inviting aesthetic with its curated selection of secondhand goods and handmade curios. The store has personality, no doubt, and it’s a pleasant space to browse for unique finds. However, when it comes to consigning new items—especially handcrafted ones—the experience falls short of collaborative.
I expressed interest in contributing some original 3D-printed pieces and was met with firm resistance. Despite offering variations that didn’t replicate existing stock, the response remained a definitive "no." While it was implied that someone affiliated with the shop may already sell similar items, no clear details were given, leaving the impression that competition—even in the form of diverse interpretations—is discouraged.
📌 Consignment Policy Considerations This shop may prioritize exclusivity over community inclusion. It’s worth knowing that consigning here doesn’t appear to be an open invitation for emerging makers, especially if your work shares even passing resemblance to what’s already on the shelves.
Pleasant to browse, yes. But for creators hoping to collaborate, it’s best to...
Read moreI don't know what happened on the 23rd. I was there shopping and this woman was screaming at the manager bossing her around and belittling her. I want to ask a question she was very rude to my friends and I. The manager that she was screaming at her name is Cathy when I was there before she was very very sweet and very helpful. I am assuming that that person screamed at her may be upper management and she needs to go back and learn to talknto people properly. That is not very good for business to be going around screaming at people like that. My friends and I will never be back. I'm sorry for...
