Ive gone here since my kids were kittle and bow theyre teens. Its a beautiful oark for adults, as well as, kids and their dogs. Theres 2 separate parks in the front and the back, a dog park that both connect with a body of water with many ducks. Theres also a horse pasture or a horse area around the other side of the hill with horse trails aling side the oark which you can see sometimes while walking around the park meer the trees amd the hill in the right side. The 2nd half has a small cafe or restauraunt and also has a duck food quarter machine to get some duck food in case you forget your own. Theres squirrels amd bunnies as well inside smaller bushes around the boarder ing bushes near the water. Lol Its a LARGE park for the family and its very beautiful. The dog oark is in the front right side of the park. There are 3 separate parking lots for it and its easily accessed from the main streets and is also across the street from a residential area with houses...
Read moreNOPE. Just don't. I was told about this dog park from a neighbor and decided to go. But the entire place is filled with WOODCHIPS. My dog had a hard time running on them when I took him to the big dog zone (which was friendlier for him) and eventually just gave up and sat around. You try to run on sticks barefoot and see how you like it.
Also dogs are dogs, and plenty of them were just sitting around, and eating the woodchips. That and the Small Dog Zone had very aggressive dogs. I let my dog in there intially, and he was instantly attacked by 3 chihuahuas & a scotty and ended up with a cut on his lip.
The Pet Parents here did nothing to help, even when they heard my dog squeal. They just responded with "that's just how these dogs are over here."
So I just don't recommend it. There's plenty of better, more beautiful & fun dog parks out there, with better people too. This place is honestly just a vet emergency waiting to happen. Don't go. Save yourself a...
Read moreI love the fact we have a leg we can walk around there's a lot to do here however, for the dog park area. I'm sure it's cheaper on the park to use these wood chips but for little dogs it's not easy to play and run freely catching a ball and have good grip without hurting themselves. Lattice stumbling and falling. The wood chips make the ground way too deep for proper running an engine and enjoyment with other dogs. I'm sure it's perfectly fine for bigger dogs but not in the little dog section I do wish you would do something different. Also put up more signs that the owners need to be able to control their pets. I can't count how many times my pet gets attacked due...
