This is a good park. It has a large playground for children, with one side for smaller kids and the other side for larger kids. There is a wonderful dog park and even a bathroom. The bathroom is always pretty clean and stocked with soap and paper towels. There is a large disc golf course and a beautiful walking path. The only down side to this park is some dog owners don't pick up after there dogs. I have seen dog poop left right on the walking path. Some dog owners also walk through the kids playground to get to the dog park, which you wouldn't think was a big deal but some of the dogs are not well behaved. Overall it is a good park, but could be great if some of the dog owners were more responsible...

This is a decent park, probably above average in the area but it's super important to check the weather the day prior and the day you want to visit.

We tried to go to the park today and the children's side was flooded out due to poor drainage

So it would be an even better location if the Parks Department or whomever could grade the area to drain into the nearby pond / provide adequate drainage for the play boxes as not to hold water.

and I am aware that there's been some recent storms and weather... but in my book, the roads and parking lots have to keep standing water off of them... so I believe my parks should too and... we went to another park five minutes away which was...

This is a great park. It has access to the greenway, disc golf, a huge playground with a big kids side and a little kid side, a pavilion with picnic tables, a very large dog park with separate big dog/little dog sides and a creek that dogs and kids like to swim in. I thought we'd have a hard time finding the dog park but if you look at the playground it's behind it. If facing the playground use the sidewalk that goes around the left side and it'll take you straight there. Just a bit of warning it does get very busy at this park especially on nice days. There is a lot of parking and even if it is full there usually is somebody leaving when...

Kids love the park although it gets covered with water when it rains. The adjacent dog park is big and convenient. The best part of the park is the walking trail. 5.7 miles end to end starting from the Creekwood Park parking lot. Would be even better if the city would sponsor a clean up along the trail and in the creek. Nice picnic areas, disc football course, and clean heated toilets. Kudos to the city for creating this beautiful park.

Awesome place for a leisure walk with your dog and/family. Paved walkways are wide enough for bikes to pass without worry. There are a few bridges crossing the Indian Creek where you can dip your feet in easy flowing streams. Even a rope swing for the more adventurous types. Benches offer rest along the trail. I saw almost no trash on my 3 mile walk. Make sure to take a water bottle for hydration- there are no water fountains.

Oh my gosh this place is a little gem! I can't believe many of the locals I've talked to about it don't even know where it is. I think it's better that way anyhow. But if you love to explore, play disc golf, or just want to check out a sweet playground, go see for yourself how great this place is. They even have one of those little free libraries.
