Washington County Legacy Park — Attraction in Hurricane

I am the director of Southwest Barrel Racing Association and hold more than half of my events at the Legacy Park. I would 150% recommend this facility for any type of event. Although I only hold equestrian events at the facility, the entire staff is amazing. The customer service is always top notch from the management to the guys driving the tractor during our events. Everyone is very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile. This past weekend I held my year end finals which is a huge event. Ginger Hall and staff worked hours with me to ensure that we provided our contestants and volunteers as safe an environment as we could. Washington County has a contract with City Of Fun Carnival for our yearly fair here in the 2nd week of August. Every year massive improvements and new buildings are added and it's so much fun despite the high temperatures. The parking lot is so mu h better then years before and they have the carnival at the front now. They livestock building is big and kept cool for the critters, we love the petting zoo. Carnival, horse racing, rodeos, activity booths, games and lots of food made this the place to be. Grounds were kept spotless thanks to the inmates work group. Bathroom was spotless, trash cans cleaned daily, lawns manicured. Barns we're available for overnight, others available while showing. Showers were available as well for anyone in need.
