Oof I was lied to, yall are fishy as freak! I had a 32 point inspection done for free from the kite festival which is awesome! Technician came out did his "job" and told me I need a duct cleaning and tried to up sale me on an electronic filter and explained the benefits ok cool.
He gets on my roof checks my unit and tells us it's clogged with red dirt and multipul components are going out, and it's better to replace the hole unit.
Instead of going ahead with the process we went ahead and had our ac checked out with our home owners insurance cause it's under warranty and we just bought the home and don't want to spend 15k on a new unit if we don't need it, lone behold we don't need a new unit or parts but there's not a big enough air vent to pull air over the coil but it's 100% fine!
We found out later that there was an sale or some crap on their Facebook page where you get a deal on buying a new unit! Which was the exact same package our technician lance tried to upsale us on. He was informative but when it came to the sale their techs are pushy and almost made us void our home owners warranty for our ac. Not cool, also their in house financing when they run your credit it dings it even when homie lance said it wouldn't, it did. Appreciate the free service but not the lies!
My AC is good and whipple will never touch my unit after this shameful experience, better honest technicians go a long way verses being greedy and taking advantage of people who know none the wiser shameful, haven't use my AC in 3 days, am currently using it and it's perfectly fine.
Moral of the story, don't get scammed, by an air duct cleaning change your ducts and get a better company to do the service!
Edit: now their technician Lance Howard is harassing us calling my mom's phone telling her we can do the filters after we already told them NO! How many times do we have to tell you no. It's okay keep calling we can go to court for harassment...
   Read moreOriginally I was not going to even leave a review and just leave it but Whipple has contacted me several times asking me to so I guess I will.... Not very happy with the service. My a/c stopped blowing cold all of the sudden. I know a little bit about a/c so I knew it had to either be low on Freon or the capacitor or something like that. Whipple sent us a letter in the mail about some rebate and free quote and such so I gave them a call explained our situation that I would be wanting a quote and I would also like them to check out the system and see exactly what it is I need to fix what I have for now or whatever. Sergio Valera showed up with an iPad and nothing more. He took a very quick look at our unit expressed its a 3ton unit. He did not check any pressures or anything just looked at the manufacturer tag. Proceeded inside the house to look at our furnace to confirm the 3 ton. Mind you I said he arrived with just an ipad, no tools or meters or sniffers, nothing. He then proceeded to tell me we need to replace the whole system and it's going to be 9500 without looking anything up or calling anyone or getting in touch with the office or manager he basically looked Through his text messages for a different customer and just told me some random price. He told us all about the financing options they have and such... I then asked "well do you at least want to put a meter on it and see if I'm low on Freon or anything?" In which he exclaimed that "well if I pump and freon into your system I have to charge you $600 dollars Soo I don't think you want to pay $600 when your probably going to end up getting a new system." After Sergio left I had contacted a different company and they came out and fix the capacitor that was bad and now my a/c works great!!! Never going to call...
   Read moreAbout 5pm Jesse Bramasco from Whipple plumbing came to my home to fix my clogged toilet. In the process of snaking the sewer line the snake became stuck from unforeseen circumstances and Jesse tried relentlessly for hours to remove it with out success. He eventually had to cut the snake line, remove the machine, clean up the mess with endless apologies. Next morning Jesse began accessing the situation using a camera and locating tool.They eventually pind down a spot in my backyard dug down to the sewer line and discovered a concert septic tank were he believed his snake became intangled inside. He than called a septic service company (iGot Poop) and continued digging to expose the lid. Once I agreed to (iGot Poops) terms too empty my tank they removed the lid. Jesse Bramasco removed the tangled snake and remained helping though the whole emptying process. I would have never known we had a septic tank if it weren't for Jesse. I'm pretty sure problems I'd had in the past with clogged toilets was due to a clogged septic tank. That evening Jesse reinstalled my toilet and made sure everything worked and drained properly. Now at the end of day two Jesse was still apologizing for getting his snake stuck in my bathroom. The next morning (day 3) Jesse showed up to tie up lose ends, back fill the hole in the yard and cleaned up everything. When it came time to settle the bill, he took responsibility for everything and up held Whipple's guarantee and only charged me $150 dollars...P/S Thank you for everything Jesse and thank you Whipple for choosing your employees...
