I recently had the pleasure of exploring the Hell's Half Acre trail and I must say, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. What made this hike particularly special was the fact that it was suitable for hikers of all ages and fitness levels. I embarked on this adventure with two toddlers and an 11-year-old, and we encountered no difficulties throughout the entire trip.

One of the standout features of the Hell's Half Acre trail is the paved path. This made the hike a breeze, as we didn't have to worry about rough terrain or tricky footing. The trail is well-maintained, with clear signs guiding us along the way. We also appreciated the presence of benches and picnic tables, providing us with opportunities to rest and enjoy a snack in the midst of our adventure.

The view along the trail is simply breathtaking. The volcanic rock formations in Idaho are unlike anything I've ever seen before. The unique geological features provided a fascinating backdrop to our hike, and we couldn't help but marvel at the natural beauty surrounding us.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Hell's Half Acre trail to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly hiking adventure. The paved path, clear signage, and stunning volcanic rock formations make for a truly memorable experience. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just starting out, this trail has something for everyone. Don't miss out on the opportunity to explore this hidden...

What a perfect diversion! These “south” trails are located at the rest stop. Clean bathroom, but some barriers to entry for wheelchair users. The path is paved, and provides some benches for those who need a break. A more ambulatory wheelchair user will be ok, but someone that requires help will definitely need it. The sign says the red loop is 45 minutes to transit but it’s not. Took me about 20. There are many nice things to see, and the interpretive signs are helpful. I also spied some great protected picnic tables. I visited during autumn after a rain in the morning, and it was such a nice...

August 22, 2021. A nice surprise. I've driven by here from time to time during my life but for once, I pulled over. I went to the top of the building before taking the little hike. It's all sidewalk so I didn't even need to change shoes. The walk takes you to an upper level and all along the way there are interpretive signs; very nice ones at that. You can observe this very rough topography interspersed with some desert-like flora. There are significant cracks and holes in the earth. I did take pictures and made a...
